A human chain, a memorandum, and water cannons crossing the gap outside Masjid Jamek
On 10 November 2007, tens of thousands of people clad in yellow took to the streets of Kuala Lumpur, demanding the cleanup of the electoral roll, the use of indelible ink, the improvement of postal voting, and fair media access. Roadblocks and police dispersals did not stop the memorandum from reaching the National Palace.
